CARETECH®

The bamboo-viscose products from Christine Headwear are made in the unique and functional Caretech® Bamboo quality.

Bamboo-viscose fabric has many fantastic features and the soft and comfortable quality is actually used to form the largest part of the Christine Headwear product range.

The Caretech® Bamboo from Christine Headwear is supremely soft, silky and luxurious to the touch. It is breathable and thermo-regulating so you remain comfortable and dry during both summer and winter temperatures. The fabric is more moisture absorbant than cotton and quickly removes the moisture from the skin and release it. Further the eco-friendly Caretech® Bamboo products are extremely gentle to wear and higly suitable to use against sensitive skin.

CARETECH® MILK

The unique and comfortable Caretech® Milk fabric is only used in the Christine Headwear night caps. The milk fibers are known to add a lotion effect on the skin leaving the sensitive scalp soft and refreshed when the headwear is removed. The milk fibers will fell like silk when worn against the sensitive skin, it is breathable and will absorb moisture and quickly release it again, keeping you warm and comfortable throughout the night.

CARETECH® ALOE VERA

The Caretech® Aloe Vera is a special feature used on the familiar Christine Headwear bamboo-viscose quality.

Aloe vera is known to have a soothing and relaxing effect on dry and sensetive skin and is used as a coating on the Christine wigliner to make this even more comfortable and soft to wear under a wig.

37.5® TECHNOLOGY

Comfort in clothing is dictated by our temperature and the humidity next to our skin, known as our microclimate.

37.5® Technology works with the body's natural mechanisms to maintain the optimum comfort zone at 37,5 degrees at all times. The patented 37.5® Technology is permanently embedded in the fibers used to produce our headwear and will never wash out. The particles uses energy from body heat to accelerate the vapor movement and speed up the conversion of liquid to vapor. This increases the drying rates remarkably and products with this unique feature actually dries up to 5 times faster than a similar product without. And when moisture is removed, you stay warmer when it's cold and cooler when it's warm.

The active particles used in 37.5® Technology are derived from natural sources such a coconut shells and volcanic minerals which makes this a natural and rather unique headwear line.

You can find the unique 37.5® Technology in our new product range under the Christine Headwear Body Balance Line.

Certifications

CERTIFICATIONS

At Christine Headwear, we are proud to have very high standards when it comes to designing headwear, and it is natural for us to follow different certifications on the market. Read about our different certifications below.

Oeko-Tex certification

The Christine Caretech® Bamboo range received the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification in 2015. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is assurance that the headwear product does not contain or give off any harmful substances. An Oeko-Tex labeled product is subject to annual tests carried out by an Oeko-Tex certified institute in order to ensure that the product always lives up to the Oeko-Tex standards and regulations. The Caretech® Bamboo and Caretech® Milk headwear products are approved for product class I: For textiles in close contact with highly sensitive skin.

Arpansa certification

Arpansa stands for Australian Radiation Protection And Nuclear Safety Agency. Arpansa UPF labels give consumers confidence that the product they are buying will give them effective sun protection. If a garment label carries this trademark, it means that laboratory testing has been done, and Arpansa is satisfied that the materials used to construct that product will provide the amount of sun protection stated on the rating label. The Christine Headwear sun series is continuously tested and is certified according to Arpansa’s standard AS/NZS 4399:1996*. *For further information about UPF, please visit www.arpansa.gov.au/services/upf

CE label Christine Headwear - A CE registered brand

At Christine Headwear we take pride in our headwear and we value highly that women in need of head covering can rest assured that we care about health, safety and the environment. The CE mark requires that we, as a company, must document all steps of our work processes both internally and externally. Each and every step of our production, sales and marketing initiatives and procedures must be strictly documented. The documentation is used to form the organised and professional company structure required to be a CE registered brand.

WE CARE ABOUT THE RESULTS AND HOW WE GET THERE

The CE mark is a joint European regulation and the rules make strict demands on design, construction and production to guarantee that the products are appropriate and safe to use. Because of these regulations and in order to meet the strict requirements, we do continuous tests and controls on all the Christine product processes from design, construction to supplier manufacturing.

THE MEDICAL DEVICE CLASSIFICATION

Christine Headwear is classified as a medical apparel according to the EU directive for medical equipment (MDR 2017/745). So what does that mean? The Medical Device classification is a very important and valuable mark for Christine Headwear. By definition of the EU Directive a medical device is a material intended to be used by women for the purpose of protection of the skin against the heat, sun and the cold. Further it is intended to relieve physical and mental discomfort resulting from hair loss as well as a general protection of women, who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy and other hair loss related illnesses.

THE CHRISTINE HEADWEAR

When being a part of a directive like the CE Marking we find it is important to stay visionary, curious, observing and forever innovative. We believe it is important to show you that we care about your wellbeing, care about the environment and that we will not compromise in any way, providing you with the best and finest headwear possible.

- The CE marking is a valuable mark for us, and for you...
